The work of the church is sustained through the generosity of our church family. We see generosity as an important part of all that it means to follow Jesus, and some of us follow the Biblical principle of “The Tithe” giving 10%.
We seek to be a generous church, giving away 10% of our income to support partner missions around our town, the UK and around the world. See our Mission Partners.
As far as possible we try to build our budget around what we believe God is calling us to do as a church.
Regular giving is so important enabling us to support our work and plan for the future. We would encourage every member of our church family to give, as part of the responsibility and privilege of belonging.
FOUR WAYS TO GIVE
Via the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). This is a direct-debit system which reduces the burden of work on parish staff and volunteers It enables:
- The donor to sign up to inflationary giving,
- The parish to improve cash-flow by receiving the gift by the tenth of the month.
