We are a diverse community who meet in the centre of Ipswich. We come from all backgrounds and walks of life, many countries and have members from babies to 101 (yes really!). We are united by our belief in Jesus as the saviour of humanity and gather to worship and learn how to know him more clearly, love him more dearly and follow him more nearly day by day. Please join us at any of our services or groups.

Our mission statement at St Matthew’s is :-

“To be a community of worship, growing our faith in Christ, building loving relationships with one another, and reaching out with God’s love.”

In our life and mission, we place Jesus at the very centre.

You can find us just up from Ipswich Town football ground on Portman Road, opposite the New Wolsey Theatre on Civic Drive.
